Besties, grab your friendship bracelets and tissues because Taylor Swift just wrapped up her Eras Tour in Vancouver, and it was ICONIC. Like, picture everything you love about Taylor—times a million.
Before playing the ultimate heartbreak anthem All Too Well, Taylor got super real with the crowd. “I’ve been touring since I was 15 years old,” she said, but the past 21 months? Totally NEXT LEVEL. She even called it “the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging” experience of her life. (Same, Taylor. Same.)
Let’s talk friendship bracelets for a sec. You know how her song You’re On Your Own, Kid mentions them? Well, that lyric inspired an entire movement, with Swifties around the world making and trading bracelets like the queens we are. Even Sir Paul McCartney—yes, THE Beatles legend—joined in the fun at one of her London shows.
Taylor told the crowd, “That is the lasting legacy of this tour. I couldn’t be more proud of you.” 🥹 Like, stop, I’m crying.
Oh, and as if the night wasn’t emotional enough, the entire stadium sang her an early Happy Birthday (she turns 35 next week!). The tour’s official social media even freaked out: “We love you so much!”
The Tour That Changed Everything
ICYMI, the Eras Tour has been breaking records and hearts since it started in Arizona in March 2023. With 44 songs, a 3-hour runtime, and 149 shows across FIVE continents, it’s no wonder Ticketmaster basically exploded when tickets went on sale. Over 10.1 MILLION tickets were sold, making it the first tour EVER to hit $1 billion. By the end? Taylor’s production company reported $2.07 billion in ticket sales. (Legend behavior!)
Oh, and merch? Just a casual extra $400 million, no big deal.
The final show had more than 60,000 fans living their best lives in BC Place stadium, plus another 389,000 watching via fan-streams on YouTube.
A Night to Remember
Taylor was all about nostalgia during the show, calling it “one last grand adventure.” While performing Cardigan from her Folklore era, she got super emotional. “It’s just crazy to think I’m going to sing the last song I ever sing in the Folklore cabin,” she said. “That’s wild. Oh my God!”
She also gave a heartfelt shoutout to her band, dancers, and crew, who kept the show going no matter what. Like, can we stan harder?
Taylor’s mom, Andrea, was there cheering her on, but her boyfriend Travis Kelce (aka the “guy on The Chiefs” she’s been singing about) had to miss it because, you know, football. But don’t worry—he won his game, obviously.
No Big Surprises, Just Big Feelings
Some fans were hoping for a major announcement (Reputation – Taylor’s Version, anyone?), but Taylor kept it simple. Instead, she let the Eras Tour shine on its own, celebrating 18 years of music and memories that have literally united the world.
Before closing with Karma (and dedicating it to Travis, of course), Taylor gave her fans one last thank you: “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date—my beloved Eras Tour.”
And because she’s the absolute queen of moments, instead of disappearing under the stage, Taylor walked out hand-in-hand with her dancers and band. It was, quite literally, the end of an era.
We’ll be talking about this for years, besties. Taylor, we love you 3000! 💕🎶
