I prefer to practice awareness which helps me accept the reality that aging happens to us all: the young and the old alike. Every person faces the same challenges and has hopes and dreams, yet the aging process is a universally shared experience.

Each human being experiences aging in terms of physical appearance, mental capacity, emotional resilience, energy level, and health.

When I feel overwhelmed by my aging challenges, I remind myself that this is a shared experience.

This helps me to see beyond my personal situation. I am grateful to have lived long enough to have this shared experience and go through these changes.

All humans suffer through a similar journey, regardless of how many years in our lives. The aging process affects each of us and provides us with opportunities to grow and develop. I know I gain new insight as I age.

People over time become elders, which brings wisdom, respect, and honor. They are important contributors to society, and they help shape this world.

Today, I recognize that people continue to live longer than ever before, and I believe that everyone deserves to live as long as possible. There are lots of reasons to promote longevity. Let’s live longer, enjoy life, and live better!
