The Old Guard

• The Old Guard is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Based on the comic book of the same name, the film will star Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
• The story focuses on a pack of mercenaries who are all secretly centuries-old immortals able to heal from any wound, but are forced to live alone and avoid relationships to protect their secret. Just as they find another immortal who has “awakened”, they realize someone is onto their secret and have to fight for their freedom before their new enemy figures out how to replicate their powers.
